Acting for a Cure
supporting the fight against breast cancer
Acting for a Cure is a non-profit production company founded by then 15-year-old Rachel Helson in 2004 in Louisville, KY for the then sole purpose of producing the musical Richard O’ Brien’s “The Rocky Horror Show” to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  In 2007, Acting for a Cure headed to New York and successfully produced it's third version of "Rocky" at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway.

Acting for a Cure has raised over $80,000 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure!

On April 16th, 2007, Acting for a Cure produced Richard O'Brien's "The Rocky Horror Tribute Show" at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway generating over $30,000 in profits for breast cancer research.

So many people contributed their time and talents to making this production a phenomenal success. Many thanks to everyone for their amazing support.
